Strength/Power Development

Strength a vital skill for all sports. Two particular types of strength are addressed in sports enhancement. Power training helps an athlete to develop their explosiveness. Core strength is also a primary focus of sports enhancement. Often neglected in our everyday workouts, good core strength is a critical component for any athlete.

Power is strength versus time. It is a combination of strength and speed. Power is essential for performing any sport movement from golf swing to volleyball spike. The more powerful and explosive your body can be, the better athlete you will become.

Core Strength

Core strength refers to the control of the muscles and joints of the trunk or torso. Core strength is critical in maintaining proper posture, body control, and in transferring power from the legs and hips to the upper body for activities such as batting or throwing the javelin.
